five little things that made my week:

2. these snowflake socks.socks | reading my tea leaves{because i’m trying to embrace all the winter we still have left.}

3. this bag.bag | reading my tea leaves{just because it was just the right thing for sneaking candy at the ballet.}ย

4.ย this envelope.
envelope | reading my tea leaves{and the others, for helping get books in the mail.

5. this leftover portion of fresh, cheesy pasta.pasta | reading my tea leaves{because it was fromย a weeknight dinner with a sister and my parents.}

other things:

technicolor beets

    I also slept well this week, thanks to a certain newly adopted kitty cat who finally stopped wailing in the middle of the night! Huzzah!

    Love the candy-sneaking bag. Can we be friends?

    Are you going to be doing any book signing/reading things during your visit to L.A.? Or is strictly pleasure. ๐Ÿ˜‰

    Glad someone slept well this week. We did not.

    Also….I once snuck a cup of coffee in a brown paper bag to the opera at the Met. If that isn’t classy, I don’t know what it ๐Ÿ˜‰

    Erin, out of curiosity, when you moved Faye into the bedroom did you move her changing table/dresser in there too? (And your dressing table/dresser into the main room?) (I love double function, hard working furniture). Btw, I’ve just (finally) got your book, and I’ve been loving it! Congratulations on it!

    Thank you for sharing the article on Misty Copeland, I found it really inspiring.
    As for the article on cardboard, I completely agree, which is why I try to avoid online shopping (which is hard for someone who hates to shop). I really appreciate that the association that delivers my organic vegetables bi-weekly takes to boxes back each time they deliver a new (as long as I remember to put it out for them).
