my week in objects (mostly).

March 9, 2018

five little things that made my week:

1. this welcome sign.

{and a visiting sister/auntie.}

2. this light.

{any port in an interminable winter? first time trying one of these babies!}

3. these blossoms.

{it’s march. you knew this was coming, didn’t you?}

4. this duo.

{“i’m a superhero, papa’s a superman, and silas is a super power.” sounds about right.}

5. this helmet.

{for keeping me safe.}

other things:

tempted

tiny jeans!

letting sleeping children lie.

overlooked.

before the EPA.

sting rays! (also!)

women’s history reading list.

    Yes ! Thanks for sharing the Women’s history list. If I’d seen it earlier, I would’ve included some of those women in my blog post about inspirational Indigenous women. But it’s never too late – I’ll share it on my FB page! 🙂

    This is such a nice helmet! The photos are lovely, as always.
    I know you studied humanities. Do you have a photography degree too?

    I always enjoy your Friday objects. Your therapy light is so much cuter than mine. I have a day light by SKY and it is my secret to surviving seasonal affective disorder. We are currently camping out at a friend’s because that snow storm knocked out our power and heat and I was without it for a few days…it’s a game changer. 🙂

    Come to Australia where life is light! I’m glad you have one of these. Australians love to laugh. I’m sure this is partly because the bright light keeps them healthy and happy 🙂

    Hey Erin, how are you liking the therapy light? When I lived in Seattle, I was too stubborn to get one. But now wiser and back on the east coast, I’ve been reconsidering lately. These last few cold months of winter are always a challenge. Would love to know your thoughts!
