my week in objects (mostly).

June 12, 2009
five little things that made my week.

1. garlic flowers.garlic
{because they’re such friendly little pom-poms. and who knew?}

2. pickles.pickles
{because i made them. and i haven’t tasted them yet, but i get to soon}!

3. my table turned desk.tabledesk
{because it allowed me to finally sit down and get things finished. and it made me all the more excited to have a real desk come september}.

4. chocolate cookies.cookies
{because i found the recipe here, and they were the perfect accompaniment to my afternoon tea. yes, it’s 90 degrees. no, i can’t help myself. they may have also been my breakfast. on two different days}.

5. these flowers.black-eyeds
{because they are wild and growing on a city block. love at first sight and always}.

what little something made your week?

{p.s. thank you to victoria for featuring my downtown, i can’t wait to see you here!}

    Lovely! I adore your little photos… they remind me of the important things in life. My week was made by finding a wedding dress. Learning to use my French press. Taking a fake-sick day on Monday. Reading lots of poetry from the South. Have a beautiful weekend!

    What gorgeous bits of your week. Luv it! Our week was made with morning bike rides, sneaking snuggly times on the sofa after the kids are sleeping, minty sweet tea and my new inspiration board. Here's hoping your weekend is super lovely. xo

    Ooo, pickles! I haven't made any before, but I do love to eat them.

    This week was a slow one, kind of in a good way. So that was good.
