i’d be lying if i said that i didn’t miss new york. but when may rolls around and the wildflowers begin to bloom around this street sign in wilmington, i have to say that i’m pretty darn happy here too. you just don’t see too many sights like this in manhattan.
{photo by me, flowers by little old lady down the street who plants wildflower seeds with abandon every spring. my heroine}.

aaaahhhhhh……a modern day Miss Rumphius! sweet!
wow is that queen anne’s lace blooming already? i’m jealous! i found flowers in nyc today….plants are for sale now everywhere you look at the farmers market. i started wanting to buy some to grow on my balcony and then started to wish i had a yard so i could grow a whole garden. 🙁
that is great, i love the thoughts of a little old lady planting wildflowers everywhere. i think that will be me when i am old(er) lol. i have been to wilmington. it has been years ago and i had a blast. such a lovely place.
you live in such a wonderful place! sure, i love NYC too, but this is so nice and fresh!
