Great article on the manologues. I finally read Rebecca Solnits other essays in ‘men explain things to me’ last year – good stuff. Though it was great the mansplaining article went (sort of) viral, those other essays on invisible women etc. really deserve some more attention aswell!
Hi!
I love these lists and look forward to them every week 🙂
I remember seeing that tapestry (or maybe a similar one) on your Instagram some time ago and always wondered where I could find a similar one. So I thought I would just ask! Would you mind pointing me in the right direction?
Thank you!
Thanks! Mine is one I found in college at a little store in Burlington, VT! Don’t have a great recommendation of where to find a similar one, but keep your eyes peeled and duck into little import shops!
I like the moon. What always amazes me is the way all small children start out drawing, very symbolically. People are stick figures with mostly heads and eyes (maybe a mouth). But children KNOW they are representing people. Humans are very oriented to intense symbolism.
Even Faye’s moon represents the moon to her.
Love these ruffly tulips!
And I LOVE a bralette!! People don’t believe that we can wear them if we’re busty or chubby and, girl! It can be done!
Busty bralettes: nice! thank you!!
The moon <3
I love seeing children's drawings and the glimpse at their perception. And that peek of your chairs… they look amazing!
Lovely tulips and well done with the chair seats! You have a wonderful eye for detail. xo
I love all of these photos, but “the moon” is extra precious. Thanks for this post!
