my week in objects (mostly).

November 1, 2019

1. these darned socks.

{heh.}

2. these wax pastels.

{for doubling as face paint (even if they also inspired more than one last-minute costume change).}

3. these rain boots.

{because gloomy weeks are made less so with dry feet.}

4. this spot to stick my rings.

{because i never usually take them off, but lately i’ve started to snuggle them here for the night and i’m kind of into it.}

5. this basket of bathroom books.

{because a just-right solution has been evading me, but i finally found one.}

    Great article on burnout. I can totally relate to the author’s original article. The clothes I’ve neglected to return, the benefits I’ve yet to claim for the therapist I see to address my “overwhelm”. If only I could regulate my sleep and diet so I had more energy to do all the things 😉

    The best face paint! I did the same and could not have been more pleased. For those wondering how, I just dipped each crayon into a small bowl of water as needed, and it worked like a charm.

      I did the same! And before washing it all off to make a cat face, I had lots of luck applying full-face green makeup just by adding extra water and spreading with a little piece of sponge!
