love week.

 

i love valentine’s day. when my sisters and i were little, my mom would leave us all tiny presents at our places at the dinner table on valentine’s day. and when my dad worked in the city, he would bring us pink carnations (green on st. patrick’s day) to add to my mom’s display. i also love valentine’s day because i can wear pink and red. together. and no one can tell me that they clash. yay.

 

james has fully embraced my love (of the holiday and otherwise). and my suggestion that this week is love week. yesterday he surprised me at work with a slice of pizza and with these beauties. i love him.
