strawberries
we just got back from the farmer’s market. i am in heaven. we came home armed with loads of organic strawberries, lettuce, arugula and local eggs from little chickens that are allowed to roam to their hearts content! favorite thing about coming home from the market? washing the lettuce in our white porcelain sink and watching the dirt stream out. i don’t know, it just feels so right. happy saturday!

ahhh I love summer! You can’t really buy local in the winter where I live, so the farmer’s market, and cheap, organic produce are Heaven for me also!!!

    it’s the best 🙂

ohh, i just love the farmer’s market. ours opens may 2nd and we’ve cleared the calendar for it 🙂 we have a petite garden ourselves but for the rest we try to get it at the fm. the only bad thing is that ours is only 1 day a week. so we go early and get everything we can.
