my week in objects (mostly).

May 8, 2009

five little things that made my week.

1. sugar snap peas.sugarsnaps{because black river organic farm had them for us at the market and they are so, so tasty. we love, love, love you black river farm}.

2. my new basil plants.basil{because they mean fresh basil all summer and that means pesto galore}!

3. making the time to make biscuits.biscuits
{because from start to finish they are ready in under twenty minutes. and that is no time at all}.latte {because james brought it to me yesterday morning. in the rain. on his bike. hero guy}.

5. flowers from the market.flowers {because they cheered up a very cloudy week}.

{also, lots and lots of lovin’ from this little blog of mine. so happy to be reading my tea leaves with all of you}!

what little something made your week?

Biscuits and a latte–sounds perfect, especially for the rainy weather we’ve been having in Chicago!

Your objects really spoke to me, I love all of those, didn’t have any of them this week but maybe next week.

A breakfast of chocolate coconut pancakes in bed made my week, a nice surprise from my sweetie after I worked all weekend at the show.

I was craving a latte so badly Wednesday night I practically ran out the door first thing yesterday morning to get one! My little boy brought home a planter he had painted and potted yellow flowers in it from his preschool. It was wrapped in a bag he had decorated too and he handed it to me and said Happy Mothers Day and was so proud I nearly died right there. That totally made my week!
