Beautiful! Captures exactly why it is so hard to come back and try to share where you've been.

You're a beautiful writer. I'm going to study in Lyon beginning in August. I'm frightened by the language barrier but absolutely ecstatic for my own experience there. Although your blog entry was rather short, you've carefully thought-out words have prepared prepared me for breathtaking beauty, unique experiences and maybe even loneliness at times.

    Thank you!

I was also a guest blogger on Lost in Translation. And let me just say thank God that Vivian had the good sense to make me guest blogger #2! There is no way I'd want to do a guest blog after reading your post. It is excellent.

Browsing through your blog, it's clear that you're into photography. But given the response you've gotten to your post, I think you should give some serious consideration to writing as well.
