my week in objects (mostly).

June 4, 2009
five little things that made my week.

1. the ferry.ferry
{because how can you not be happy on a ferry ride}?

2. multi-colored tomatoes from black river farms.tomatoes
{because they taste as good as they look}.

3. coffee ice cubes.coffee
{because even though all of the ice had melted by the time i walked home (a whopping four blocks) the coffee didn’t taste watered down}.

4. my bike.velo
{because i bought her in france when i was fifteen and my sister caitlin lugged her through charles de gaulle airport so that i could bring her home and she’s still rockin’ steady after almost ten years together (eek!)}.

5. red roses.roses
{because they bloomed again. and i like that}.

what little something made your week?

p.s. special thanks to knack for visiting, to pia for featuring my blog, and to meghan for posting my tart. you guys made my week, too!

p.p.s. and thanks to joanna, too! hope you get to take a day-cation soon! xoxo.

Your photos are lovely. I think my outing last night might have made my week. It was so fun to see good friends play music and there was even a surprise visit by one of Ventura's finest fiddle players, Phil Salazar.

Coffee ice cubes are such a good idea! Things that made my week are: my new career direction to study and practice law, my awesome roommates and friends, the impending arrival of my first designer bag purchase (Marc By Marc Jacobs), the sweet potato, spinach, and goat cheese pizza from Emma's Pizza in Cambridge, MA, and a new level of happiness that I have not felt in quite some time! Happy Friday!

A flight to San Francisco to see my sister for her birthday made my week!! Plus the lemon meringue cake and coconut passion fruit cake we ate in celebration. 🙂
