five little things that made my week.
1. mimosa.
{because it’s impossibly feathery and in bloom all over town}.
2. sun tea.
{because it’s so refreshing on these hot, hot days}.
3. brown paper packages.
{because nothing is better than getting a little something in the mail. this one sent with care by this fellow francophile. thank you}.
4. this scene.
{because james understands my need for a cup of hot tea, even in the middle of summer, and left these for me to find when i woke up}.
5. these stockinged feet.
{because they are just so clever}.
what little something made your week?
{p.s. a special thank you to all of the lovely women who mentioned me in their spaces this week. i’m so glad to have your support}.

I need to go make some minty iced tea this morning. I love the package and the cute stockinged feet! I hope your weekend is full of fun! xo
That last image is quite clever.
My macro lens made my week even more than it normally does, I have been enjoying working on new images and it is ultimately my very favorite lens.
Gorgeous photographs. I love receiving mail, and a brown paper package from France would be amazing! I love the stocking paint, very clever indeed 🙂
Those witchy legs ARE so clever! I love little surprises in public spaces.
I didn't do a whole lot this week, but I did have a really good roasted beet and goat cheese salad, as well as the best gelato I've ever had. Good food always makes things better.
Ah, sun tea! So summery! Thanks again for your amazing guest blog post, I could say it made my week 🙂
Lovely. Now I want some sun tea. Enjoy the weekend, friend.
I love that he set out a pot and mug for you 🙂 I'm already on to my second mug of hot tea this morning as well! Have a great weekend, Erin!
XOXO
I love the stockinged feet. This post definitely gave me a craving for some iced tea…it's been 100 degrees here all week!
that tea looks yummy!! love your week in objects
lovely as always! love the pippi lockstocking stencil and of course mimosa…i love "the week of the mimosa"–always reminds me of when i was little, picking the pinky little feathery things off my neighbor's tree and making little crowns of pinky feathery things…
i especially love the pot of tea left for you and the stockings, but they're all wonderful. we were at the beach on monday and it didn't rain. we were lucky. happy weekend!
what a lovely week…..I am dying laughing at the stocking feet coming out from the building! 🙂
Happy weekend friend! xo
I envy your hot hot days! It is still co-o-old here. Those stockings are cute and the sun tea looks delish–is it just tea brewed in the sun?
I lied. I stepped outside and it's suddenly in the high eighties. Chicago is one temperamental dame.
Oh how I love sun tea!
What made my week special? Watching my 16 month old little girl dance and clap to Flamenco music in Madrid!
man, i'd love to get some hot hot summer goin on! (great pics, loving those sweet lil stockings!)
I was looking forward to this post all week – and yes I do have a life but it's so nice to read about simple pleasures….
very sweet post.
such a beautiful week!
love the stockinged feet! what little something made my week? it was 4 of my little pottery pieces…my instructor took them to a salt firing for me and i wasn't quite sure how they'd turn out…they turned out so great–especially my tiny genie bottle. happy happy happy.
those stockinged feet make me SO happy! you must have been so excited to have found them!
hope you're having a fantastic weekend, erin!

haha the last one is so fun – you might not even notice it walking down a busy sidewalk.
The tea looks so refreshing and the blooms – oh, I am missing them here.
I like the idea of celebrating the simple things that make your day 🙂 nice pictures! (I especially really like the tea cup collage )
