this weekend brought me: a strawberry pie and vanilla ice cream. zinnias from the farmer’s market. clearing too many tables of too many dirty dishes. getting sick of the smell of soy sauce. craving it anyway. a really yummy green bean salad with hazelnuts to make it all better. and pickling! what did your weekend bring you?

my weekend was filled with choco-chip banana muffins, grenadine liqueur, lots of dancing, and blog-reading.

My Dev, asleep in her bed with her sweet little face; Brother, Where Art Thou? on dvd; lots and lots of yard chores, which just about made me want to R-U-N-N–O-F-T; a palmful of triplet cardinal nestlings who really got upsot, til we put things right; pizza at the beach with seagulls on the flagpole; then zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I got a weekend of rain! Perfect since we haven't gotten hardly any all spring – and I won't have to water my plants for quite a few days! Yippee!
love your posts. we attended a friend's party with tastes/samples from a few classic southside Chicago pizzerias. it was great fun. no strawberry pie but we had big bowls of berries and cake.
