this summer, the lower east side tenement museum will be hosting a new public art exhibition, the tea cart stories. from her tea cart at 108 orchard street, artist michele brody (with whom i share an alma mater…woot), will invite visitors to share their stories about the ancient beverage. the tea tales will be hung from copper tubing that’s been installed on the 19th century tea cart. if you live in new york, head here for more information on the dates when you can go to tell your tea story.
