oh my goodness. i’m not sure i even know where to start, a wedding, an apartment hunt, 2,161 miles on the road? well, for starters, we had loads of sweaty dancing fun and i still love james despite all those close quarters and his unsolicited advice on how to drive down a highway (ahem). and, after looking at a gazillion apartments in providence, i think we’ve found one to love (let’s hope someone else doesn’t get it first). but there’s still a lot to catch you all up on. and not for nothing, but my google reader gave me a bit of a heart-attack last night when we got home. slowly but surely, i’ll make my way back into this bloggy world.
in the meantime, i’m scanning my inbox for the most important messages and staring at my lovely, lovely apartment, wondering how i will survive in any place but this one. sigh, i suppose i’ll manage without the free laundry, free wi-fi, and chocolates by the front door. and who knows, maybe our new landlord will also leave us a giant vase of white lilies when we move in. oh, paradise lost.
anyway, i’ll be thinking up ways to share the past week with you all, but today i’m going to kick up my heels and let someone else’s downtown please your senses! stay tuned!
