in october, my very best friend from college will be getting married. i am going to be one of her bridesmaids. the excitement is mounting.
you can only imagine my glee when i opened the invitation in the mail today. i must say, we have received some seriously gorgeous wedding invitations this spring and summer, but the do-it-yourself creativity of beth’s invitations are way too impressive not to share here.
both writers, beth and her soon-to-be husband, chris, have decided upon a literary theme of sorts for their wedding. everything you see here they did themselves–gluing, typing, and cutting included. the result could not be more lovely.gorgeous stamps.
beth’s incredible handwriting.
a picture-perfect seal.
bookmark reply cards.
library card reminders.
and gorgeously hand-stamped invitations. fit for a library.
amazing, no?

these invitations are incredible and so creative! we received an invite yesterday and i remember thinking, "boring and i can't tell anything about who's getting married by this (except i guess i can)." anyway, i love expression through invites, it definitely sets the tone.

Amazing indeed. I love the literary theme throughout, and oh, that library date stamp!
