five little things that made my week.
1. this tea set.
{because it meant that my mom and i could have a much needed cuppa together}.
2. this cell phone.
{because it is the first cell phone i have owned in two years. and it’s made of all recycled materials. and it’s cute}.
3. this light box cap.
{because taking down the track lighting in this apartment was the best decision i’ve ever made. well, maybe not ever, but it was a good one}.
4. this jumble of cords.
{because even though i hate messes, all of these cords mean that i have internet access in my home, and i’m not ashamed to admit, it makes it feel homier}.
5. this tile.
{because it’s clean, and i’m so thankful that my bathroom floor is covered in this and not something else}.

where is that phone from? can you add a link? it would be great to get a recycled phone when my current one dies. good job on the cleaning! my bathroom = still mildewy and grimy.

That tea set is adorable! I love a good cuppa with my mom too! Were did you get that phone? Mine just died and I am shopping around for new options (made from recycled materials work for me). Things that made my week were the sweet potato fries I had for dinner last night, air conditioning in this hot weather, and reading Julie & Julia to the wee hours of the morning one night.
I don't even drink tea, but that is a lovely tea set! and I love your new phone, very cute, and that tile floor is so fun (though, the picture made me a bit dizzy, haha)!
we totally have jumbles of cords around our apartment too, we just hide them behind dressers and such… if you can't see em, they're not there, right?
something that made my week? well, it's not tangible, but my editor texted me this morning that he thought the two big stories I wrote this week were "awesome." so that's always nice 🙂

What made my week?
1) Walking to the farmers market with Chris this morning. We ate breakfast pizzas at Frog Hollow Farm and mine had peaches on it–yum!
2) Crossing "making homemade paneer" off of my 41 before 42 list. It was a tasty task.
3) Finding inexpensive jeans that actually fit!
Great cell phone! One thing that made my week is that summer is sticking around here in Alaska longer than usual & I am lovin this extra sunshine!
