this weekend brought me a bonfire. s’mores. bagels. clean sheets. a delicious indian dinner with my fellow grad students. waterfire. a cowboy-themed party that reminded me of being 18. a mini roadtrip with james. and rocky new england beaches that make me feel so very much at home again.

Something about the progression from s'mores to bagels pleases my senses. Particularly that part of my self that lives pour manger.

one of my favorite trips to this day is when , for our ten year anniversary, we took a trip up through boston , maine and then martha's vineyard for a few days…..I will never forget how great it was…….
