my week in objects (mostly).

October 9, 2009
five little things that made my week.

1. white cups and saucers.breakfast
{because they were filled with delicious breakfasts shared with james. for more on breakfast, check out abby’s tribute}.

2. white flowers.flowers
{because i battled quite the cold this week and these little guys helped to brighten my spirits}.

3. this little bit of tea.tea
{because just when i thought i would have to forego my morning cup of earl gray, i found this. thank goodness}.

4. this little orange leaf.leaf
{because it means that soon the whole window will be filled with brilliant orange goodness}.

5. this fuzzy scarf.scarf
{because this was the first week this season that i’ve had to pull it out, and it kept me so cozy and warm}.

what little something made your week?

What a sweet little white cup and saucer. I could go for a hot cup of tea right now, in fact, I may just go help myself…
Thanks for sharing such pretty pictures, as always!

I've never made tea like that before! However, I can only imagine it's oh so lovely in those beautiful white saucers.

Beautiful as usual Erin! The white cup and saucer looks so warm an inviting. Something that made my week… my dance class with my good friend Pauline and your lovely comment on my blog!

I love the entire color palate of your week – very relaxing and calming. I hope that you are feeling better!

Something that made my week would be taking a trip to the mountains and eating fresh apple pie with apple cider! 🙂

I really like your scarf! I've just pulled out my knitting needles and yarn again. It felt so good to hold the slim Birch needles and the delicate soft yarn, a beautiful deep dark eggplant color. I bought the yarn at ArtFibers, a favorite yarn shop that had to move away (I miss it…). Your scarf, the leaves changing color, a bit of chill in the air…it feels like knitting season.

I'm house-sitting this week which includes taking care of 30 chickens and 2 turkeys. Being able to gather fresh eggs for breakfast every morning has made my week! Incredible!

    Hope you are feeling better!

I agree with the earl grey… as a true Brit I couldn't go a day without a good cup of tea and earl grey is by far the best in my opinion!! 🙂
