five little things that made my week.
1. the train.
{because sometimes getting to just watch the world go by for an hour or two is a pretty nice thing. especially when you’re wending your way to your family}.
2. this race number.
{and the six others like it. because a whole horde of us ran the dang thing. ok, maybe some of us didn’t really run, per se. but who ever heard of a trotting turkey, anyway}?
3. this game.
{because trivia circa 1979 was kickin’. and by now i’ve just about got the sports questions memorized}.
4. this other game.
{because you just can’t beat the nerdy fun}.
5. these cheese pastries.
{because of the cheese. and the pastry}.
what little something made your week?

Looks like fun! I love traveling by train.
What really made my week was a kayak trip on Saguaro Lake with my dear old dad and my hubby. The weather was perfect, the water like glass, and the company superb. I'm a lucky girl!
