a morning romp.

February 11, 2010

bootssome things are worth it.ivylike waking up early

to explore my own tiny yard
yard
peek over my neighborsโ€™ fences into theirs
socks
and still having enough time to come back inside for a cup of tea.

Though waking up is hard, the rewards can be so great! I love having time in the morning, being gentle with myself instead of rushing around in a tizzy!

Ah, it IS so worth it to go out in the cold, cold air, just to come back inside and cozy up with a steaming mug of tea. What a charming way to spend a snowy day. Your photos capture it beautifully. Love those snuggly socks, too.

And you might have already stated this before, but out of curiosity, what's your favorite kind of tea? Is there a particular brand you favor over any others? This tea drinker is curious. ๐Ÿ™‚

I love this. I love it when it snows… staying inside and watching it snow (mind you, we don't get much snow here, maybe that's why it's still a novelty).
