my week in objects (mostly).

March 21, 2010
five little things that made my week.

1. beach stonesbeachstones
{because ever since i was little they’ve been one of my favorite things, and getting to take a little mid-week drive to the ocean did me more good than i could have imagined}.

2. this tomato plant.tomato (2)
{because i got to visit a whole greenhouse full of them, just starting out and gearing up for summertime}.

3. this bag.book bag
{because it helped me tote home a whole stack of new-to-me library books}.

4. this forsythia.forsythia
{because a little pop of color is just what our apartment needed}.

5. these springtime shoes.ben simons
{because it was warm enough this weekend to dust them off and take them for a stroll}.

what little something made your week?

Putting away winter blankets and linens and bringing out spring/summer ones, so fresh and a nice change of scenery…that made my week.

The forsythia in NC is going crazy and its making me so excited for spring. J and I went for a romp in a big, green field saturday in 85 degree weather and THAT made my week!

What a sweet bag for toting library books.

A little thing that made my week was Chris making a last minute decision to leave work at 2pm on Friday, just so we could go out and play in the warm weather. We had such a great time.

What a lovely bag for library books! I just adore the library – such a gift!

The little thing that made my week was a cornmeal lime cookie from a local bakery (I was having a rough day and the cookie was just the ticket)!

Oh, our forsythia bush is blooming right now..!

I love the photo of your sneakers, dear. I hope you enjoyed your stroll.

We celebrated Noah's sixth birthday this weekend and it was a glorious, sun-filled day in our backyard, with good friends lounging about in the warm grass and our kids playing all around us… That made my week, for sure.
