baseball season

newyork{tree in new york}.flwoer{tree outside my window}.

hope you all had a lovely weekend {many thanks for all of your sweet comments regarding my new coif}. mine was full of lots and lots of beautiful things that i will hopefully eventually share with you here, but truth be told, the weekend chez nous was a little tough. we got to spend time with my family and with my dear uncle ralph who has been fighting so very hard. seeing him so sick isn’t easy for anyone.

but in the spirit of springtime and sports enthusiasts as devoted as my uncle: a link to a friend’s new baseball blog. she’s embarked on a project to watch every.single.game. of the 2010 red sox season and to become a baseball aficionado in the process. while the team of choice is definitely not the same as my uncle’s (sorry guy), i thought it only fitting to do a little sports post in his honor. and because seriously, anyone crazy enough to watch every.single.game. of a baseball season, deserves a little recognition.

p.s. posts include photos of babies in baseball hats. can you resist?

i'm sorry about your uncle ralph. i'm sure seeing you made him feel better. i used to love baseball. i live in ny and was even a red sox fan. loved the underdog at the time, but the curse has been broken ;).

This weekend we took about 10,000 photos and swore to stop taking pics of flowers. Then yesterday, we just couldn't help ourselves
