cool mornings. socked feet. steaming bread and coffee percolating on the stove.
things don’t get much better than this.
growing up we had warm cranberry bread every christmas morning. i have two bags full of cranberries in the freezer waiting for this year’s feast. but in the meantime, i couldn’t stand to wait.
i made this mighty fine little cranberry bread with an extra little addition of rosemary and ginger to keep things exciting. doubled the cranberries. next time, tripling.
the end.

rosemary and ginger…….great additions. i added fresh grated ginger to my cranberry sauce and the herb would've been another added bonus. next time!
Oh my that does sound delicious. And I love how you styled the photo. Now I want something cranberry.
Why is it so warm in SoCal right now?! I'm dying for fall to start. I might just bite the bullet and make this anyways. Perhaps it will jog our fickle weather into the right season?
Oh my goodness–what a fabulous picture! And delicious product! YUM!

lovely story! honestly, i've never had cranberries other than in sauce at thanksgiving. i always wondered what else you could use them for. thanks for linking to the bread recipe. it looks so good. i can't wait to try it out!
Mmmm cranberries are so yummy! Reminds me of the holidays! Yay!
yes, triple it next time!
sounds delicious!
I made this on Sunday– holy wow it was so so good. Mine came out a little crumbly… when I'd cut it into slices it just sort of fell apart.. but it was SO good warm with cold milk. Thanks for posting!
ginny, glad you liked it! you definitely have to wait for it to cool a bit to avoid the crumblies. but sometimes warm and crumbly isn't so bad, hunh?
Sometimes you just gotta eat your awesome bread with a spoon š
