five little things that made my week. thanksgiving style.
1. maple sugar candy.
{because of the way it melts in your mouth}.
2. this makeshift dining room.
{because it allowed us to cram even more people into my mom and dad’s house. and shows you all how incredible my parents are}.
3. this meal.
{because it shows you vegetarians can have fun on thanksgiving, too}.
4. this dessert table.
{especially the cheesecake. which was perfection. and made with love by james’s mom}.
5. this sing-along.
{because it’s my favorite part of being home with my sisters}.

I did a sing along on Thanksgiving too! haha. I played piano while everyone sang- it was so familylike! I loved it 🙂
I also discovered that my grandma used to sing opera- lol

The wooden beams and candle chandelier are gorgeous, (and the books, and the fireplace)! A very nice makeshift dining room, indeed.
I've never visited your site before, and I love it! Your eyes make things beautiful. It's a wonderful thing that you're willing to share them here so we can see the beauty too.
The week in objects is the sort of thing I'd do if I didn't have a one-year-old scrambling my house and brain like eggs.
i love the picture of your parent's dining room. so pretty. and the food-delish. great photos. what a fun holiday.
