a few photos from a small public art piece i’ve been working on this semester. letters to a neighborhood, from the people who used to live there. 
i’ve been spying out my window all morning, trying to catch glimpses of people as they read. so far, lots of smiles.

fascinating! real people? where did you find the names of residents from years ago? ancestry.com? phone book? I love it. My two loves, textiles and people history. the flowers would have been lovely as well, but this is fabulous!!!

i saw one! … but thought it was part of a scavenger hunt… so i didnt want to mess with them (sad face)… i did smile though.
How wonderful! We used to live nearby, on the corner of gano and waterman and I wish we had people like you as neighbors.
