i first read about olo fragrance in anabela’s space this winter and i’ve been dreaming about being doused in sweet smells ever since. i finally mustered the courage to order a new fragrance by mail, and last week a little bottle of lightning paw arrived at my doorstep. heather, the genius behind olo, describes lightning paw as “free-spirited and feminine without even trying to be.” that sounded just right to me, but it was the promise of scents like bergamot, vanilla, and jasmine that really lured me.
i can assure you, i have not been disappointed. my little bottle reminds me of warm afternoons in wilmington–just the sort of thing i need to be reminded of on grey days like this one.
sounds simply divine
Sounds gorgeous! A new fragrance is such a treat!
yes, indeed! i'm tempted to follow in your steps now, and try out the new one you just got–so much fragrance inspiration from my canadian friends!
I love lightning paw! dafne is a really lovely one too. 🙂
i've been wearing the same fragrance since i was 16. maybe it's time for a change… i'm going to look into olo!
Now I want to be covered in its sweet scents, too!
Beautiful post! x
I'm so, so glad you like it! I'm wearing it today. It doesn't trigger any associations for me, but I love when that does happen.
the fragrance sounds as lovely as the jasmine & honeysuckle in your wonderful photos!
mmm sounds like a delicious combination of smells… deep and velvety, but light because of the jasmine. gorgeous!
Sounds lovely! I am a "scent-a-holic" and am always on the lookout for new goodness! btw…I adore reading the discriptions of scents…"earthy, notes, undercurrent of vanilla, etc."…they should almost poetic!
MMMmmm love new scents. And your photos are GORGEOUS!
Sounds pretty and I'm really big on essential oils so maybe this will be right up my alley! Beautiful photos by the way:)
your blog is beautiful, and the scent sounds wonderful.
thanks for your sweet notes. you guys should definitely check out olo's collection. lots of goodies.
I've been looking for a signature scent. My favorite is called The Charmer. Only 28 dollars at Anthropologie. However, it ALWAYS leaks! After buying my third bottle, I've decided as much as I love it, I've got to find something new. I'll definitely be checking into this.
that garden looks amazing!!
oh how i love jasmine
