roses from around my new neighborhood. some of them are past their prime, but all of them robust enough to allow for a monday morning photo shoot. it’s my first day off since we made our move to the big city and so much has happened since the last time i last wrote. we’re busy nesting and exploring and finding our way, but so far we couldn’t be happier in our new city. many good things to share with you all, soon. thanks as always for sticking around. xo.

So lovely! That last orangey one is the shade of rose that is "mine", at least in my family. I picked out a plant with just that color when I was a kid and it's been blooming away at home ever since.

Beautiful…I have a lot of roses in full bloom right now, I just wish they would stay like this all summer. Can't wait to hear you good news!

The first light pink rose photo reminds me so much of my Great Grandma. She had very similar roses. It's like I can smell their sweet perfume now…
