vitality tea {because if it’s doing half as much for my brain function as it is for my taste buds, i’ll be happy}.

4. these tiny bells.
lily of the valley {because they’re making my apartment smell so sweet. more over on gardenista}.

5. this book.
lean in {because even though i’m only halfway through, and despite what criticism people might have, i think it’s a must-read for any woman thinking about her career. blogger, executive, or otherwise}.

other things:
i want to do this with my 3 sisters.
grandmothers & food.
yikes.
trimming the fat.

things by me in other places:
clean air!
make your fridge smell good.
lily of the valley.

I picked up lily of the valley at a plant swap around my neighborhood the other weekend. I can't wait until it blooms!!!

Wisteria is beautiful, as are lily of the valley – mine are actually growing this year and I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

It's helpful that you've recommended the book too. They were discussing it on Woman's Hour on the BBC and didn't really conclude as to whether it was worth a read. Think I'll go ahead and give it a try!

I had never heard of Lean In, but immediately sought out a synopsis to read. A late bloomer who did things a little backward by most definitions, I graduated from college this last weekend. Now I'm in the transition period prior to grad school. This book sounds perfect. I'm so glad to have found your lovely blog. You have a new fan (and follower) who can't wait to read more.
