my week in objects (mostly).

June 6, 2014

five little things that made my week:

1. this onesie.
onesie {because it was mine, circa 1984.}

2. this banana bread.
banana bread {because it’s awfully nice to have a sister who reads my blog. and a brother-in-law willing to whip up a treat.}

3. these meadow flowers.
meadow flowers {from a grammy.}

4. this pile of snail mail.
cards {and all of the sweetest notes.}

5. this borrowed wrap.
baby carrier {for helping this mama to get some much-needed sunshine.}

other things:
badass jeans for badass women.
what’s in a name.
magnolia bitters.
new mission: find summer dresses i can nurse in.
fougasse.
for dinner.
if i could sew, i’d make 5 of these and these.

    Oh onesies…they are always cute on the wee babes. I heard the baby k'tan wrap is great! Would love to hear your thoughts on it if you think about it!

    Cute! I found it really hard to find dressed i could nurse in because I have giant boobs. I decided to invest in a bunch of skirts and button down tops….slip baby in the shirt and boobs are covered, viola! Love reading your new mommy posts. So sweet and such a special time!! xx

    Summer dresses you can nurse in – try checking if there's any Sonnet James dresses left?! I have bought a bunch from her spring/summer collection, and although my baby isn't here yet they cover my huge pregnancy boobs & I've tested pulling down even the crewnecks – the stretch and bounceback factor in the fabric is amazing!

    Awe, that is the sweetest little onesie. 1984 was a good year 🙂 Congrats on the little one! Motherhood is the best!

    SNAIL MAIL AND BANANA BREAD. Two of my favorite things. That's amazing how you kept your onesie and now your child is wearing it!

    Hi Erin! I would love to know where/how you store all your snail mail. I've kept almost every letter and card given to me since middle school and they're all just sitting in boxes.
