five little things that made my week.
1. this bonnet. and this dress.
{sent our way by the unbelievably sweet abby.}
2. these white geraniums.
{for giving us an excuse to get out the apartment and for brightening up the view.}
3. this drawer.
{for being emptied to make room for middle-of-the-night essentials.}
4. the junebug sessions.
{for being the sweetest mixtape a new family could ask for.}
5. this sachet and the others like it.
{for making everything smell so sweet (with thanks to the incredible abby, again).}
other things:
radical transparency.
elderflower season!
a go-to summer hat?

any chance we can find out the junebug sessions playlist? very curious!
I was about to ask the same thing! Do tell!
I've bought a few things from Everlane before, and I appreciate their "radical transparency" campaign. I was thinking about that a lot when I visited the Make It Good headquarters in Portland the other day. MIG embodies all the social and environmental ethics that Everlane shouts from the rooftops, but the MIG folks are too busy and too modest to spend a lot of time sharing their story. I think they're really nice people doing good, honest work making great products. I would love it if more people knew about them.
So glad that you mentioned the work that Make It Good is doing on Instagram! The messaging and marketing piece of all of this is so interesting. Even if it's only a very small piece of the puzzle, I'm glad that some of the work I do on this site might help folks like Make It Good to share their story and spread the word about their product! Thanks again for the introduction!
Hi Erin!
I love the photo of white geraniums!
Well, nature is always a good idea, in every season of life!
š
I wish you a very good weekend!
Thanks so much, Beina!
Yay for Bamboobies! Those things got me through a very extended period of leakiness š How are you finding the prefolds to work for you? We used them only briefly, when our little one was too tiny for all-in-ones but we didn't have too much luck with them. I hope they are keeping your Junebug cozy and comfy!
Hi there! We've been really loving our cloth diapers! There's a post in the works about the system that we're using!
the dress and bonnet! oh my, the sweetness is almost too much!
oooh, what beautiful little objects, sweet smelling sachets are the best, right? Love this wonderful time.
