five little things that made my week.
1. this basket.
{useful anew now that we’ve got a very wriggly little bug. good for sneaking a shower and other things.}
2. freshly laundered blankets.
{because it’d been an embarrassingly long time.}
3. this new hat.
{because i needed something wool. and these guys delivered, again.}
4. this cookie.
{and the “grammy” who made it. psst: last chance.}
5. this crate.
{because sometimes turning something on its side makes all the difference. please disregard the radiator situation.}
other things:
wintry things (had to).
pants with feet.
more jewlery box alternatives.
more edible gifts.
office-safety tips.
a jar of magical thinking.
me in other places:
cribs.
living in style—with kids (a cameo).
thanksgiving in a small space.

This reminds me that I should probably wash my blankets, too. And I need a hat. I lost my classy white wool one last year and have been wearing a bright blue and yellow one that is fun at the hill, but not so cute downtown going to work.
Fully disregarding. We all have these situations, or ones similar.
So rude! Note that the series name is "My Week in Objects" not "Danielle's Week in Objects".
Oh no! I think what Danielle meant was completely compassionate! She was just trying to say, "Don't worry about (or apologize for) that raggedy old thing, whatever it might be; we all have those!!" She was meaning to be sweet.
Agreed! Totally meant to be sweet! xo!
isn't it amazing how it's sometimes the simplest things that bring us the greatest pleasure?
Love your hat.
Very disappointed that the pants with feet are not for adults. They're wasted on babies! Babies can't appreciate the finer points of coziness like I can.
😉
Love/need the hat!
Where is it from?
It's from Everlane (link above!)
The hat is adorable. Is it itchy at all since its wool?
It's merino, so super soft! I've been loving it!
Maybe a "How to Disguise Your Ugly Radiator in Your Apartment" post is to come? Could really use some advice on that one.
