five little things that made my week.
1. this crate.
{one neighbor’s trash. my treasure. (and also a temporary radiator barricade.)}
2. this little pop of peony.
{because i needed a touch of spring in a snowy week. (you too? right this way.)}
3. these headphones.
{for blasting mozart and trying to drown out café chatter.}
4. this little knife.
{and the little buddy i had here to help make dinner last night.}
5. this staple gun.
{and moms who read blogs.}
other things:
beautiful tools to inspire beautiful work.
the strap that gives back.
faith in abundance. via the laramie report.
wayward & proper.
vintage meets modern.
moist towelettes.
reorganizing pinterest boards is easier than writing a book.
ps. in case you missed it: one more day to enter.

Call me a philistine… but what on earth do you use that knife for? So intrigued.
ha! it's a little knife for chubby-fingered toddler's to use safely! my nephew diligently sliced mozzarella for last night's pasta with it!
I am a mom tehehehe. Love seeing a staple gun on your chair….you must be up to something! Happy Friday Erin!
I love that crate, too! And the knife–I'm glad my question was already answered above. :]
Speaking of radiator barricades, my husband and I have been brainstorming constantly to come up with a solution for ours that is 1) simple to build 2) not terribly ugly. If you find a permanent solution, please do share!

I would love to see a post on how you are recovering your bench!
Thanks for the link on abundance. I wonder sometimes if there's potential in "minimizing, minimizing, minimizing" for greater waste/landfill. Initially, and long term.
But generally.. Marie Kondo's method is probably not worse than in a chaotic home with duplicates and forgotten items in corners and closets??
Agreed! I think Marie Kondo's method is fantastic, but it definitely leaves out a broader critique of consumption generally and the environmental impact piece specifically! Excited to add something to the conversation in my book!
Thank for the Fotostrap mention! We love it when bloggers give a shout out to the camera strap that gives back!
Oh, the crate! & look, so versatile! 😉
