MY WEEK IN OBJECTS (MOSTLY).

July 17, 2015

five little things that made my week.

1. this tiny shell.
shell {because it’s filled with the very best beachy smell. pure genius.}

2. this coloring book.
coloring book {because it was on the bestseller sale shelf at book courtย and because i couldn’t resist. also, here.}

3. this new little bag.
clutch {because it has a special longer handle just for me. just what i needed.}

4. this scarf.
scarf {for doing it’s best to keep me a little bit warm in a positively frigid cafe this week.}

5. this old bottle.
bottle {and james for the rescue.}

other things:

misconceptions about miscarriage.
notes on the gaze via shoko.
a favorite dress, a favorite spot.
email a tree.
lively centarians.
cute (recycled) duds for cute dudes.
little bites.
honeymoon (or any moon) photo advice.
epic failure, a non-wedding toast.

me in other places:
at long last, a FULL home tour.ย (the magic of wide-angle lens!)

    For a second, I thought that shell had candle wax inside. That could be pretty cool, especially with larger shells. ๐Ÿ™‚

      It's filled with solid perfume! But beeswax and tiny wicks would be totally easy! I'm going to collect some good ones on our trip up to Maine in a few weeks and make a few!

    Erin, your apartment is beautiful! And also, super inspiring, as we prepare for a baby in about 600 square feet.

    i may be reading in between the lines here regarding your "other things" links, but i wanted to let you know that my thoughts are with you, particularly if you and your family are sad this week.

      That's so kind of you. No sadness in our house this week, but such a poignant and important piece all the same.

    A couple of comments lost (or apologies if you get many from me!). Slight technical difficulties around these parts. Thank you as always for sharing the lovely snippets of your life. You always inspire me to do a better job of curating the things in my space. Your whole home tour is lovely – it is always so helpful to see how you put it all together.

    Your home tour is so pretty. A lovely home you have. Old bottles are so cool, and even better when you find them yourself.

    Everything you shared in this post touched and opened up my heart in a million ways. What was a quiet Sunday morning in my pajamas is now utterly re-energized, and filled with romantic wanderlust. Thank you for always being a rich source of inspiration.
