It’s been an incredibly refreshing two weeks away and today, instead of objects, it’s places, mostly, that made my week. There were objects too, to be sure. Boats and vases of wildflowers and duffel bags and sweatshirts that made my week, but more than anything it was the chance to breathe some fresh air, readjust my eyes to something new, and spend uninterrupted time with my two guys.
