five little things that made my week.
1. this second cup of coffee.{otherwise known as an excuse to use this grown-up take on rock candy.}
2. these stacking bowls.
{because i’m kind of pumped to be into the sorting stage of things.}
3. these socks.
{because shrunken by my dad means the perfect fit for me.}
4. this candle.
{because: juniper twig, tonka bean, and cardamom.}
5. this cookie.
{because when mildred sends girl scout cookies for faye, you don’t refuse them.}
other things:
surf’s up. so where are the women?
the perfect parody?
fantastic pajamas.
it’s just hair.
sourdough pretzels.
she had me at savory cobbler.
silver and gold, organized.
from this day forward.

Thank you for sharing the link to Clare Bowen’s story about her hair. So encouraging and uplifting. Also, that candle looks divine!
Shrunken socks are the best socks! You should try buying kids’ socks for yourself…they are cheaper and fit me better, usually. Plus, it feels a little silly, which makes for an inside joke with yourself.
I love the little pom poms – can you tell we where they are from?
I got these at a local stationery store! If you search wool felt pom poms you can probably find lots that are similar!
Girl Scout cookies. As an Aussie Girl Guide, I am so proud.
(Got the silver award myself;)!
Love the surfing article. It would be fun to see more pics of you on your longboard!
I’ve been having so much fun with it!
