five little things that made my week.

2. these hydrangeas.
my week in objects | reading my tea leaves

{for blooming before we have to head home.}

3. this little yellow jacket.my week in objects | reading my tea leaves

{for being an over-sized solution for keeping a tiny bug moderately dry.}

4. this mound of cheese.
my week in objects | reading my tea leaves{on what i like to call a bowl of amelie poulain pasta.}

5.  this comic book.my week in objects | reading my tea leaves

{because it’s proust. and because the tiniest among us loves to “read” it (in the loo).}

other things:

good trouble.

all hail the nursing caftan.

the light of a missed sunset.

patches never looked so good.

park bench stories.

hector, eyebrows, minnie, and hector.

cotton gauze everything, please.

me in other places:

ditch the coffee table, but more importantly, ditch the rules.

    Petit Bateau jacket, I suspect? Fabulous investment and such amazing quality! One of the first things I looked into was the ability to order their clothes in the US. Moving away from having a Petit Bateau store within a 5-minute walk!

    Mmm, that cheese looked really good. And the people in that comic book are dressed better than I am. 🙂

      Did a little search and found this link to the series. Not sure you’ll be able to get your hands on it in the US and just to be clear—it’s definitely for adults, but Faye’s loved looking at the pictures on this trip.

    Dear Erin,
    I have been reeding you blog for almost two years now and I really enjoy it every time. We do have the same idea on where to travel this year – I am in Deauvill right now my next stop will be St Malo. I guess we are going to miss each other but thanks for the tips. Enjoy France.

    I just learned recently the most fascinating thing about mollusc shells with those little holes perfectly drilled in them – whelks will drill the holes and slurp out the mussel, clam, etc for dinner! Isn’t that crazy? But perfect for making sweet little charms. 🙂

    Erin,
    Would you share the designer of the gold disc charm? Lovely.
