3. these pencils.

{and all of the notes getting scribbled in our house.}

4. this block.

{because an e is otherwise hard to come by.}

5. this chalk.

{and all the other pieces we’ve used this week. (you too!)}

    That phone call article is really lovely. I grew up to the sound of my mom talking for hours on the phone with her sisters, who lived a state away. And now that I have moved, I talk on the phone with one friend consistently and the conversations are long and never ever feel like a chore (as many other phone calls do). Wish everyone knew the art of a good phone call.

    Love the phone call article! I commuted about 90 minutes to and from graduate school—all rural interstate. I was so stressed, so unhappy, and SO tired. I’d call my mother and just decompress, tell her everything, and she’d talk me all the way back to my apartment. We still talk often, but I so needed those grad school calls.

    I love your weekly objects posts. Of course, I love all your posts. Your blog is beautiful, thoughtful, and informative. Plus we love Uncle Goose alphabet blocks. My go-to baby gift because they have lovely designs + they’re super durable.

    Hi Erin! Are your pencils biodegradable? I am looking for a company.

      Not these ones, but I bet a quick google search will turn up some options!
