my week in objects (mostly).

July 19, 2019

1. this queen anne’s lace.

{never a weed to me.}

2. this scrapbook.

{and finally, simply, tucking what i could fit into it, ancient collages and all.}

3. this tea set.

{and two little kids who had more july hot chocolate than i’d thought possible.}

4. this bookmark.

{even if it hasn’t had the chance to move in a few days.}

5. this seat.

{yup, still into it.}

other things:

introducing a new classic.

deadstock double front painters.

stacking!

frape-latte-blah-blah-blah-woof-woof-woof.

the silencing machine.

a quilt you can wear.

vintage denim shorts.

what the media gets wrong.

a small needful fact.

there’s no outrunning the kingdom, the power and the glory.

lugging around the tool kits of servitude.

    Not personally a frape-latte-blah-blah-blah-woof-woof-woof person and also not about shaming people for enjoying small luxuries in our f-ed up economic age, but sincerely hope that those who have a daily habit can get themselves on the reusables train…

    I never really comment on posts, but I just want you to know I especially look forward to the articles you include in your roundup every week. There are usually several I have already read, but there is almost always something new too. This week it was “lugging around the tool kits of servitude” – so good! Thank you for sharing!

      Ha! I can’t say for sure, but I *think* it was a collage one of my sisters made me when I went to college!
