my week in objects (mostly).

August 9, 2019

1. this finished project.

{because, finally. more just as soon as i’ve recovered.}

2. this pumice stone.

{because summertime feet just need a little help.}

3. this little spot of cheer.

{because who could resist?}

4. these rumpled sheets.

{because we’ve had a shocking run of both kids sleeping in (parents, too.)}

5. these blocks.

{for being turned into a chicken coop at least three times daily.}

other things:

for mississippi.

the erasure is nothing new.

smashed zucchini.

nature’s own filtering system.

talent is important, but perseverance and high threshold for humiliation is maybe even more important?

tomato toasts on repeat.

proposals for the feminine economy.

high-tops forever.

    I’m looking for a good sturdy pumice stone – do you have any recommendations for giving my summer feet a bit of TLC?

      I got this one a health food store in my hometown! Not sure what the brand was, but I think most stones will work just fine!

    I made the zucchini pasta for Sunday dinner, it was so good. Definitely keeping the recipe for each summer. Thank you for sharing.
