Not to make this a thing, but since I accidentally liked the comment above, I wanted to correct myself – I actually don’t mind the term daycare (I’ve worked in all manner of childcare) as it’s caretaking that happens during the day. I guess there’s the contrast to elder care.
My drop-down ironing board in the kitchen of my small, 1940s apartment is one of it’s dearest features. So glad you’ve unearthed yours. They are seriously the bomb, I feel bad for everyone who has to wrestle with a freestanding one.
