this weekend brought me a dinner with james’s labmates. peanut butter ice cream. my last days of work at the sushi restaurant. a day on the beach with friends. tapas and white wine on a porch. late-night bike rides on banana seat bikes. our last britt’s donuts. a turn on the ferris wheel at carolina beach. and lots of goodbyes-for-now. what did your weekend bring you?

sounds like a great weekend! i love the signage and color of that funky motel! happy monday Erin š
This weekend was full of closet cleaning and relaxing.
It was nice.
So glad to hear your living it up for your 'lasts.'
Sounds like a lovely weekend. Mine included, among other things, taking photos of the ferris wheel that's come to our little town by way of the county fair.
you eat so much good food!! peanut butter ice cream, tapas, donuts..yum. sounds like a really fun weekend!
oh i love ferris wheels!
what a great weekend! i love the ferris wheel photo.
You weekend sounds packed with little endings. Here's to new beginnings š
A lovely brunch, a walk on the Highline, a celebration dinner, some painting and a lot of quiet time.
Your weekend sounds more eventful. And bittersweet, goodbyes are tough. But beginnings are exciting!
So bittersweet, I am sure š
i love the ferris wheel and you must feel like you're on one with the good-byes, which will be followed by hellos. we saw the movie 'julie & julia' and it was absolutely terrific!
Peanut butter ice cream!? Yum!!!
Way back when I was in high school, we used to mix peanut butter with vanilla ice cream. We thought we were so crazy…now they sell it that way. Very wise! I recall it being quite good. I just might have to mix up my own batch, for old times sake.
My weekend brought me some nice lazy time with Chris and a visit to the Vogue Theatre to see Julie & Julia.
sounds like you had a good weekend! mine started off with my dad's 60th birthday on friday, which meant dinner with the fam. later I went out for drinks and dancing with friends. saturday and sunday were spent trying to clean and organize the apartment to make room for a new roommate… oh, and I took my pup to the dog park! pretty good weekend when I think about it š
I admire how you pack so much living into each and every weekend. Or perhaps it is just noticing the small yet wonderful things of your days….Anyways, I like it! I went on a ferris wheel too this weekend š
