my week in objects (mostly).

five little things that made my week.

1. these new wheels.
{because i had to snap a photo while they’re still shiny and new.}

2. these pinking shears.
{because they were a hand-me-down from my cousin mildred. good for curtains and other things.}

3. this new ring.
{because it was a gift from rebecca mir grady and the prettiest tiny additon to my left hand.}

4. this hand-me-down bib.
{because all bibs should be made from waxed cotton.}

5.  these lettuces.
{because i started them so late in the season that i was afraid they’d bolt. but here they are!}

other things:
buying yourself a story.
rocking a red-eye.
coffeemonsters!
good for girls via ofakind.
considering coconut and sea salt for my new ‘do.
lip mousse.
drip, drip, drip. good tips for water consciousness.
board games, minus the board.
my window seat.
sweet smelling mother of pearl.
i really loved these counterpoints this week: just don’t do it & get over it.
