five little things that made my week.
1. these dirty chairs.
{and these two who insist on sitting side by side.}
2. these daffs.
{always and forever.}
3. this hopeful stare.
{looking for more mango.}
4. this little pouch.
{and someone who finally agreed to wrangle her pencils in it.}
5. this basket of silks.
{and the little boy who loves wearing them, always preferably.}

Sounds/looks like an amazing week. And those daffodils!
Maybe this is a silly question but where do you buy/did you make your play silks?
What a fascinating thread on Sheila Minor. I love that stuff. As a woman in science currently working in a very male-dominated company, it’s lovely to see this kind of effort paid towards identifying woman’s presence and contributions. Thanks for sharing!
Those cheeks are as yummy as a the mango! So sweet 🙂
A basket of silks — ooh, we should all have one of those!
Those daffodils are sunshine on a cloudy day! What silks do your kids play with? I love those earthtones.
They’re made by Jessica at Sugarhouse Workshop!
Thanks!
Where did you get the basket holding the wood letter blocks in the last photo?
I got it locally at Acorn Toy Shop!
Erin could you let me know where the wooden letters come from? I’ve been trying to find a nice set online but each one is either too small or has terrible reviews. Thank you!
These were a gift from a friend. They’re made by Uncle Goose!
Thank you so much! greatly appreciated.
Oh my gosh, that Twitter thread! What a delight. Thank you so much for sharing. I got overly excited when I saw my daughter’s university mentioned (U of Montana)
I read that piece on COJ yesterday, whew. Her book is on my to read list. Somewhere in the comments there’s a great link to a piece the author wrote for the nyt about prosperity gospel (https://www.nytimes.com/2016/02/14/opinion/sunday/death-the-prosperity-gospel-and-me.html) it’s a must read. Why so many of us insist on “God has a plan” and “there’s a reason for everything,” hint: she doesn’t believe that. Neither do I. But I used to and it’s pretty insidious. Anyway, thanks for the roundup, brilliant as always!
The daffodils are gorgeous!
Also, wondering where you purchased the toy blocks from. Thanks! 🙂
They were a gift from a friend but they’re made by Uncle Goose. Often available at Acorn Toy Shop!
Thanks for the info! 🙂
