five little things that made my week.
1. this trusty old bag.
{for coming out of semi-retirement this week.}
2. this well-worn copy.
{we finished the whole thing weeks ago, but we’ve been revisiting the “salutations” bit at bedtime for two weeks running.}
3. these piles of summery laundry.
{for getting packed in bags to head to grammy and grandpa’s.}
4. this sunny view.
{during an early morning work-from-home session.}
5. these favorite slides.
{i’m holding on to these well-worn favorites, but these guys just launched a shoe reclamation program in case you want to make a swap!}
other things:
how to talk about family separation.
for this weekend: free signs (or signed prints to order).
way to help beyond giving money.
new models. new sizes. same great stuff for growing babies (and) bodies.
maybe exactly the summer crossbody i’ve been needing.
table fans pretty enough to…love?
perfect for a july 1 birthday, if i do say so.
also?

SG and I read Charlotte’s Web last year. TWICE. As soon as we finished the last page, she made me turn back and start from the beginning. Then we read Beezus + Ramona. Ramona was 4 in the first book, so I think she really connected on that. Finally, we read The Mouse + the Motorcyle, which didn’t land as well as the prior two. Either way, I am very much enjoying re-reading the books I loved as a child.
