five little things that made my week.
1. baby’s first primary color.
{sent from the sweetest sunshine-y friend. note: the expanding layette. thanks, mom.}
2. this hardware store curtain rod contraption.
{because closing a sheet in the window was getting kind of annoying.}
3. these dried up ruffly daffs.
{because my mom made my dad turn the car around to go get them. maybe one day i’ll photograph these suckers before they wither up.}
4. this tiny jade.
{because i admit to not being totally on board with bringing another plant into the apartment. but james convinced me.}
5. this essential oil.
{because thank goodness for sisters and evening baths.}

Those dafodils looks so lovely. It's such a treat when dried flowers look almost as nice as their former selves.
I really like jade plants because they last forever, but I'm oddly particular about the shape and haven't yet found one I want to take home. Your's is cute, so that gives me hope. I will keep looking.
I just gave all of my jades a bath tonight, so they could breathe a little easier. And, thanks for reminding me how much I also enjoy A Cup of Jo! That post was great! Hope you have a relaxing weekend! XO, Jayme
Ha ha poor flowers. They're still pretty 🙂 X
I have that baby gym and we loved it! It is really lovely to look at, you can change out the hanging things to keep things interesting, and it easily folds away when you need the floor space. The only minor downside is that it can be tipped/pulled over when they get a bit bigger, but by that time they are pretty much grown out of it anyway and it's not heavy at all, so doesn't cause damage even when they do. Now it's neatly tucked away in our cupboard waiting for the next one. It's great quality – treat yourself and avoid the alternative!
Oh I need to organize curtains like these for my parents place. But good looking fabric reasonable priced is sometimes hard to find here in Köln.

That sunshine yellow color! Always makes me the most happy.
Hi Erin.
Your blogposts "my week in objects" are very cute, and I love love "Life in a tiny apartment"!!! hehe…
I just got the call yesterday, that I was chosen for an apartment I was viewing. This cute little loft, with dark wooden beams and roof windows! Can't wait to move in and fill it with my green plants! and hang my hammock in my livingroom. lol. Going all boho chic.
