Your class was lovely. I’m inspired to share this with others & to look for more simple solutions in my own tiny apartment. Another unexpected source of joy is the free trial of skillshare premium! It is very exciting for me as an art teacher who is looking for ways to ditch the screen after distance teaching. 🙂 Thanks for sharing your world with us.
Love the article about drawing with kids, thanks for sharing! It reminds me of when I used to work with preschoolers and the lead teacher explaining how to talk to the kids about their art. She said not to ask them what it was (because that meant it had to be something) or even to lean to heavily on compliments and instead, to say things like, “wow, you’re using a lot of purple!” or “look at all these lines!” Took so much pressure off of all of us to focus on the process instead of the result.
