Erin, do you plan to write more about acquiring a car? It seems like such a big decision in New York.
I don’t really have plans to write about it! The decision was pretty straightforward! We found a very affordable 30-year old car that we loved and we bought it! We can park it on the street in our new neighborhood without too much trouble and we only use it for excursions out of the city on the weekends. That’s kind of the long and short of it!
What a beautiful scarf, Erin. I wish it wasn’t dry clean only. Are the sweaters dry clean only too? The website doesn’t say. Have you tried hand washing them?
It’s 100 percent wool, so to be honest, I’ll probably very rarely wash it and hand wash it when I do!
(I hand wash my wool sweaters–usually just once a season!)
Did you buy or make the bag with Rose’s kit? I’ve been thinking of purchasing but not sure if I should start with an easier project and go with one of her more basic kits. I bought her book last year but found that bread baking was the only hobby I could manage to keep up between two little children, a business, a pandemic, etc etc
