It’s going to be hard to think of reasons why we shouldn’t pack up the kitchen and head down to the park every single night this summer. Last night: grilled asparagus and mushrooms, homemade hummus and blackened pita bread, delicious homemade “lime juice,” and ice cream cones to finish things off. We took big bites of those baby cheeks, too. Couldn’t be helped.

Great light, and your dinner sounds scrumptious.
I also love the Breton print cloth !Is it vintage ?
(I know my Mom would love it too).
Baby cheeks are the best …

Thank you! It's not vintage; a wedding gift from Quimper!
What an incredible day! Where did you find a park with grills in the city?
What a beautiful last photo. Joy, right there,
What a lovely evening and now you'll remember it for a long, long time. Isn't that the best part about blogs? A great archive for the smaller moments in life! XO
True enough.
Sounds/looks like a yummy vegetarian dinner. I will have to grill up some blackened pita soon.
Those kind of days are the best! š
Sunshine & sweaters, what could be better?
I spent the weekend much the same way. Dining al fresco has to be one of the best parts of spring!
how fun! my husband and i love to eat outdoors when the weather permits!
Beautiful! Eating outdoors under the sunlight sounds like the perfect way to spend summer days.
Such a perfect day! That food looks beautiful!

Oh my, the sunshine is intense! I bet you loved every moment of it š What delicious looking food, and scrumptious baby š
Ah this is inspirational. I think my favorite part of camping is the food over a grill or fire… who needs a tent when you can eat camp-food at home?
Exactly (or down the street)!
Sounds like heaven. What a delicious spread and how good is it to come together under a warm sun?
