five little things that made my week.
1. these raindrops.
{because i wasted so much time gawking at them this week. not sorry about it}.
2. this chocolate-covered key lime pie.
{because even though i’m decidedly not sold, i thought it was a fitting compromise after last week’s post}.
3. this silverware.
{because i used it to eat a big old plate of crisped-up potatoes and arugula at home/made. i heart potatoes. so hard}.
4. this bright building.
{because i’m a sucker for layers of cheer}.
5. this smoothie.
{and about five others like it. i’m craving fruit lately and waking up my neighbors at ungodly hours with my blender}.
what little something made your week?
other things:
this guest post i did on lark & linen. thanks to jacquelyn for having me.

that smoothie looks delicious! what's in it? i just got a blender and have also been waking up my neighbors at early hours:)
glad to know i'm not alone! i think this one had blueberries, raspberries, pineapple and a banana. all mixed up with yogurt and orange juice.
I'm guilty of early morning blender use as well. But I've become addicted to the creamy goodness in the morning times. It's a perfect way to start the day. xo
This is so, so lovely! That chocolate covered key lime pie? WHAT?! Amazing.
Great snippets as always, that smoothie looks good. I've been loving a mango peach one lately!
You're definitely not alone with the early morning blender! I've been making far too many banana smoothies, with honey and cinnamon…maybe I'll go make another one now š
That pie is almost too clever and cute to eat!
I, too, have been obsessed with my blender lately, sometimes using it more than once in a day because it is so easy and delicious.
Time admiring flowers is not time wasted. Nor is time spent eating chocolate covered key lime pie. Sounds like you had a yummy week!
Smoothie looks so good right now… Happy weekend!
great feature you did on Lark and Linen and jacquelyn described your blog perfectly : "fresh and focused"!
Chocolate covered key lime pie – the idea is blowing my mind!
Oddly, the chocolate makes it much less appealing to me. I'll take key lime any time, but chocolate is fairly meh for me. Opposites!
Pretty! Especially love that first photo- wow!

Very nice – and the smoothie looks yummy! š
rain, and chocolate and fresh fruit – sounds like a lovely week! mine also involved rain, and herb planting, and vineyards. i think the vineyards count as fresh fruit š
Oh fruity, summery smoothie! You look absolutely divine. š And yes, raindrops make me happy also. Think my fav thing here is that unique silverware. So delicate yet utilitarian..
i'm with you on using the blender/food processor probably way too early for my neighbours liking…
also, i'm a bit lover of potatoes too!
Just returned from a little trip to Cali where I crashed my parents long weekend at the Ace in Palm Springs. Such a special little space that somehow made me feel old and cozy and my parents feel young and free.
I am so curious about the chocolate covered Key lime pie. hmmm
